1999 - Fuel prices started to go up and forced an upward trend in the fuel clause adjustment on electricity bills until it reached 8.91 cents per kilowatt hour.
2000 - The climb continued throughout the year. It peaked at 15.43 cents per kilowatt hour (kWh).
2001 - Fuel prices started on a high note in 2001 but as they came down so did the fuel clause adjustment on electricity bills.
2002 - Fuel prices were on an upward trend for most of the year. However they started to fall in November. As a result, the fuel clause adjustment on electricity bills fell to 12.5144 cents per kWh in December, down from 14.4863 cents per kWh in November.
