One of the requirements of Rate of Return regulation is for the regulated Utility to maintain a high quality of service to its customers. To assist with their assessment of our Company's service quality, the Fair Trading Commission introduced Electrical Service Standards in June 2006.
It has been now over two years since the introduction of these Standards and the Fair Trading Commission has recently advertised that they are carrying out a written consultation process to determine the impact the service standards have had on our service quality and to determine if they need to be modified. All written responses should be submitted to the Fair Trading Commission by 28 November. The Company will be participating in this process.
